History of Young Family Well Drilling

Young Family Drilling has been in the well drilling business for over 70 years — from the high desert of New Mexico and Texas all the way to the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. That's a lot of ground, and a lot of wells done right.

In 2013, Chris and Denise Young purchased McCall Well Drilling and Pump Service (est. 1939) after Chris spent 11 years working alongside Mr. McCall. Chris didn't come to this trade late — he grew up in it, working beside his Grandfather, his Father, and Uncle Ron from the time he was a young boy. As a 4th-generation well driller, he has deep hands-on knowledge of every formation and drilling technique you'll find across East Tennessee.
